Today is the start of new day. A day that I speak the truths that I think are the truths of God. To those who read these truths, take them in slowly with a open mind and heart:
When considering the first of the commandments given to Moses, as spoken in the Exodus, we see something in the manner of, "I, the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, that place of slavery. You shall not have other gods besides me. You shall not carve idols for yourselves in the shape of anything in the sky above or on the earth; you shall not bow down before them or worship them."
The Jews answer to the commandment was to deny any image of the God, the golden calf was smashed and Baal was forsaken. They gained identity as the tribe with one God, the nation with a faceless God, and they have build themselves a strong because they believe.
The Christians answer was to only expect Christ as a figure to bow down to, for he is God--though God is not him. Catholics construct images of Christ, Protestant domains wholly say that no image can be worshiped, and still others believe Christ to be just a man. Most Christians do say that Jesus Christ is a face of God.
The Muslims of Islam answer is similar the Jews, God is faceless. As such, Mohammad is forbidden from being depicted with the thought to deny a chance for the faithful to be confused.
The practitioners of Islam are humbled be their inability to create a image of God, and such makes them great.
I look at this commandment and see a truth for our age... ...Beware the witless, blind god!! Do not let the "need" for money and possessions lead your life, for they are the blind god! Do not let fear govern your morals, for it is the blind god! Do not place yourself into a geocentric universe, for you will become the blind god!
God is Mohammad and Jesus Christ, the Buddha and Joseph Smith. God is mother and father, your uncles and aunts. God is your brothers, your sisters, cousins and relations. God is all the wives and husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends. God is Barack Obama and George W Bush.
We bow down to each other, worship each other, then we will bow down and worship God. God is Adam and Eve as much as God is Wanda Sykes and Pat Robertson, so bow down and worship. Remember this, for God is also Adolf Hitler and Osama bin Laden as much as God is you and me.
As I said, read the whole message and think. I believe this is the path for the entire world to use...if they choose to. Read slowly and think.
